Dialogue from the revised fan translation of Final Fantasy VII:
BARRET: The mall's dyin', Cloud!
It should be noted that this translation continually refers to the planet as "mall," "shopping mall," "dying mall," and/or "dead mall."
It struck me as a lot of fan labor to bring Final Fantasy VII into line with contemporary dead mall vibes/discourse-vibecourse-but I thought it worked pretty well.
